Perth Exercise Physiology

Exercise PhysiologyExercise Physiology is now offered at West Perth Osteopathy, used in conjunction with Osteopathic and Naturopathic treatment to optimise treatment outcomes.

What is Exercise Physiology?

Research indicates that exercise is supportive of wellness, improving quality and length of life, whilst reducing the risk and incidence of chronic health conditions.

Exercise Physiologists specialise in clinical exercise-based interventions for a wide variety of people and complaints, with an aim to prevent and manage disease or injury – whether it be a chronic or acute complaint – and assist in the restoration of function, health and wellbeing.

Having spent four years at university studying rehabilitation, your exercise physiologist will provide practical exercises to do at home or in a gym. Programs are tailored to suit your individual needs, and are ultimately designed to help you to move and exercise your way to a healthier lifestyle.

  • Improved Strength & Function
  • Chronic Pain Management
  • Rehabilitation
  • Chronic Disease & Injury Management
  • Pre/Post-Operative Rehabilitation
